Itinerary description
Starting from Zakros follow E4 to Gorge of the Dead. Hike to Kato Zakros taking a detour to the viewpoint overlooking the modern town, the ancient Minoan Palace, and the beach. Decend to tour Zakros Palace. Continue to town beach strip for lunch and a swim to cool off. Return up the Gorge of the Dead to Hotel Zakros for the night.
