Itinerary description
Ugh. Marking this one as difficult because we went in the biggest heat.
The trail... is there. No markings whatsoever. The first ~5km or so goes through a wooded area, but it's seriously overgrown. At one point we even had to abandon it and walk through the adjacent sunflower field.
But after that the terrain opens up and the beauty of the hills, sand dunes, is fully visible. There's something special about experiencing, seeing, being in a desert in Vojvodina. Very peaceful and quiet.
We took a beeline over the sand dunes to the top of the hill and to the monument - don't do that, follow the trail.
From there the trail back is again barely visible, it goes down in between the sand dunes. At one point (around the 9th km I think) we came across a shepherd and his dogs and sheep. They have a well with fresh water, ask a shepherd to take you there. Freshest water I had in years. Fill up your bottles, there's a good 6-7km till the village from there.
There are no pictures of the actual trail because we didn't feel like taking pictures of it.
