Itinerary description
======================
The route leads along the blue trail through Zawrat Pass and Dolina Pięciu Stawów, and then along the black and green trail through the Roztoka Valley to the shelter in Stara Roztoka.
The first part from Murowaniec to Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy is easy and leads on stone slabs. After circumventing the lake, a steeper approach begins. After Zmarzły Staw it follows up Zawratowy Żleb: the higher part is equipped with chains. In good (dry and windless) weather, a physically fit person (capable of several pull-ups) without fear of heights should rather handle this part of the trail (sometimes you have to pull up on chains). This is the most difficult and demanding part of the trail.
From Zawrat there is a beautiful view of Dolina Pięciu Stawów. Descent into the valley is easy.
The descent to the Roztoka Valley from the shelter in Dolina Pięciu Stawów is quite steep, but easy. You have to watch out for wet stones (just like the stones on the green trail in the Roztoka Valley).
