Itinerary description
Nice hike along the pipeline, once get off of it starts sinking in the deep snow of ~2-2.5ft.
The views are worth hiking even in deep snow. Big Almaty lake has almost completely frozen, the ice is still thin though. So will hike to the nearby peaks to mesmerize the view closer to late spring or early summer. Will come back however, to the lake in winter as well.
Met a pal on the hike, and followed us all the way back to the end of the pipeline. Nice doggy
