Itinerary description
This is a route to two natural baths and small waterfalls.
The first part of the route we were still driving till the end point of the route where we have parked cars. So, the route is going there and back along the same way.
The second part where we stepped out of the car was following the same road which became unpaved and rocky. It is very easy going with nice views and pine smell around.
At the point where the road is crossing the stream, you should not cross it. Instead you go at the left side of the river up stream. It seems as if there is no path there, but it is ok going between the rocks.
At some point you see a ladder at the right hand side. It leads to the first bath. We skipped it and went forth instead and visited this bath on the way back. It is very nice and special!
Further the road becomes even more tricky. It is sometimes climbing on the rocks and crossing the stream few times.
Finally you reach the second bath and waterfall. You can swim there. It was fun! The bath is really deep. The water in August looked a bit green, but we believed it was clean enough. There were fishes there who eat your old skin if you stand still. There are also frogs and crabs.
The difficulty was moderate. We were with two kids of six. They were constantly guided by the parents in the last part of the route. I would not go there with smaller kids for sure. For us it was a bit stressful and risky. Wear good shoes: mountain shoes or mountain sandals, definitely not beach slippers.
We were there end of August, second half of the day. While at the sea it was 30 degrees Celsius, it was nice and comfortable to follow this route. It is mostly in the shadow and near the water. We took water with us to drink as we didn't know whether we could drink water from the river. The path tool long as we were swimming two times and having some food and it is also not very fast with the kids.
On the way back there is a straight piece of the route. Ignore it, wikiloc simply stopped writing the route there since my phone has switched to power save mode. The way back and forth are the same.
It was a nice day and I recommend this route.
