Itinerary description
We parked at the Turntable car park, there are toilets and numerous picnic tables.
There are many different walks in the area, we combined a few to make this one.
We took the West walk to The Saddle, trail is very rocky in places with some steep sections, but the views are exceptional.
Once at The Saddle we took the Rockwell road on the left to an unnamed track on the right, follow this to the Great circle drive, left then after about 100 metres pick up the Mountain bike track to the right. We followed this to pick up the Northern Range walking track, look out for the bollards, the old track is in disrepair, a new track is a further 100 metres along the road.
Follow this track back to The Saddle, then onto the Saddle back track to the Branding Yard track and follow to the car park.
Overall a moderate walk through some beautiful bush and some great views.
