Small route to visit a small forest of giant sequoias on our way back to San Francisco. There are a few specimens and they are not as large as those in Mariposa Grove, but the visit is interesting if you do not have time to go to Mariposa or Seguoia National Park. The large dead and fallen specimens stand out, as well as the tunnel through the dead trunk, which is already very deteriorated but is still impressive.
