Beautiful route to see the highest waterfall in Yosemite National Park. Without a doubt, it is worth going up, although it is quite demanding to see the tall Yosemite waterfall. Almost 15 kilometers and a gradient of about 1,000 meters make this route really hard.
We start at stop number 7 (Camp 4) of the park's free public bus (shuttle). The going is constantly a zig-zag path upwards, with just two or three calmer and flatter sections.
It should be noted that we forgot our walking sticks in the car, something that we remembered throughout the entire journey, as they would have been of great help to us.
Once up, at the highest part of the route, you can see beautiful views of the valley and much of the park.
The waterfall is beautiful and forms two pools in which we do not hesitate to put our feet to relieve them. It was a little late and we weren't wearing swimsuits, otherwise it would have been a more serious dip if we had taken it!
We made the return along the same path, this time, in a constant descent. It is not so physically demanding, but it is still a bit heavy due to the distance to be covered.
Beautiful and demanding route to see the highest waterfall in Yosemite National Park. Hard climb, but with incredible views over the valley. Despite the effort, it is worth it to get to such beautiful places!

Saludos!
