Itinerary description

One of the easy routes within the Yosemite National Park, with different possibilities in terms of length and suitable for people with reduced mobility, being able to reach the lake through a paved road or through a path between trees.
We start at stop number 17 (Mirror Lake Trailhead) of the park's free public bus (shuttle). The route can be done on the road or through the forest. Obviously, we chose to walk through bushes, trees, flora and fauna, much more beautiful. It should be noted that it is one of the most typical routes in Yosemite to do on horseback.
After several kilometers without difficulty, we reached the supposed lake, it was more of a somewhat large pond. It is a beautiful route, but the lake can be seen in all its splendor during the thaw season, in spring. Going in summer, the lake was much drier and, since it was early in the morning, the sun didn't rise much either. The main attraction is seeing the Half Dome reflected in Mirror Lake, something that must be very beautiful and worth photographing. Well, we couldn't... It wasn't enough, neither because of the sun, nor because of the lake.
However, like the entire valley, it is a very beautiful route for a leisurely walk. We return via the other route, much more accessible, in order to make the circular walk.
Easy and obligatory route, especially in spring!
