Itinerary description
A trilha é toda marcada com "placas verdes" (foto) e fica acessível durante todo o ano. Tem abundância de vida selvagem mas apenas uma fonte de água, próximo ao topo.
Yonah Mountain is a very distinctive mountain: it's rocky main face can be seen from miles away and is very prominent. It's used by U.S. Army Ranger's from Camp Merril for their mountain training, and The Main Face, The X-Wall, The Lowers and bouldering areas the main used areas (difficulty goes from 5.5 to 5.7). It's also good for hiking (all except beginners) and mountain biking (experts). Dogs are also able to use this trail.
The trail is all marked with "green blazes" (picture) and is accessible year-round. It has plenty of wildlife but just 1 water source, near the top.

Scenery
Moderate
The trail is very easy until the first lookout. After that it starts getting a little steep. Scenery is always beautiful and there's plenty of wildlife, we saw some deer on our way up. When you get to the lot, which is used by the Army, you're almost there. Here it's a bit tricky until you find the best way to get to the summit, because there's a lot of rocks. View from the top is amazing.
