Circular route from Emerald Lake passing through:
-Emerald Lake
-Yoho Pass
-Yoho Lake
- Burgess Pass
Much of the route is through the forest, although in the passes there are great views of other valleys. You pass next to an area with Cambrian fossils but passage without permission is prohibited. At Burgess Pass there is a delicate section if it rains because it is very slippery and is next to a significant slope.
