Circular route from Field passing through:
-Yoho Lake
The initial plan being different, we approached Emerald Lake late, almost around noon, which allowed us to park. We didn't expect much from the route, but in the end it turned out to be very interesting.
You begin bordering the emerald lake with the famous views and when you reach the opposite side you turn left to enter the flood plain towards the bottom of the valley where a comfortable ascent begins near a waterfall at the beginning and through the forest at the end. final. Once inside the forest, this changes as you approach the hill, which is almost invisible as it is surrounded by trees, except for the confluence with another route on the left. From there a slight descent to Yoho Lake, which is a surprise when you arrive due to its beauty and location.
A short route, not much elevation and very interesting for a first approach. Calculate carefully the time to arrive at the parking lot.
