Itinerary description
Overnight hike from camp site to yellowwood hike, next day hiked back via eagle trail up the adjacent valley. We didn't go all the way back to the cottages but cut across the field. Nice variety on hike grasslands ontop with view ,waterfalls and through forests at yellowed and past forest via eagle trail

For those that are battling and don't want to continue on eagle trail can take shortcut at this point home

Forest
Pass the forest , at this point it seems you heading the wrong way but eventually path crosses river and comes back towards cottages on the other side of the valley. There is a booklet with interesting places of interest that can be collected from the lotheni office fit small fee, makes trail more interesting as you read up about each point , in this case Pont G , takes about the forest.

Eagle trail crosses river then double backs
If you wonder a little off the path towards river as you double back there is a nice little pool to have a swim and lunch on the rock
