Itinerary description
Yellow Aster Butte, a high traverse with great views of Mt Baker and the range to the north. Great view at the end of the border range including the American and Canadian Border peaks. These are visible from here. Distance 12.6 km, elevation gain 918 m, time 5:40.

As we started the traverse above the tree line we got beautiful views of the north east face of Mt Baker
