Itinerary description
The hardest Nick’s route so far, mostly because it’s psychologically hard to finish in a hilly forest where you move slowly and can’t really see any progress you’re making towards the end. We had way too many jungles, so we finished beelining in complete darkness in Belgrad forest. Champions league final started before we finished. We had two amazing dogs with us: Stinky and Sandy. We broke Stinky’s heart by just ruthlessly leaving it before the first dam in a water canal but it was probably better off since the second forest part was very challenging. Our second dog that joined us at the first baraji was able to finish with us in Bahcekoy. The dog refused eating anything: not treats and not even salami. We swam in the baraji but I’m never doing it again after cutting both of my feet.
