Khinalig Village - One of the highest settlements in the world (at 2180 meters above sea level. The Khinalig phenomenon, which has a 5000-year history, is one of the richest ethnographic values not only in the history of Azerbaijan, but also in human history, a legendary settlement.
In 2023, the cultural environment and migration route of the Khinalig people were registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Galaykhudat Village - There are great opportunities for the development of various types of mountain tourism in the village. In 2013, as a result of researching the Kam mountain massif near the village, rock walls (200 m) with prospects for bouldering (rock climbing) were discovered on the northern slope. The wide, wide rock wall on the side of the road connecting Galaykhudat and Gryz villages is also of great importance. The height of the rocks is about 15-20 m, and there are places for camping on the foothills.
Griz Village - Gryz village is located at the foot of Ag mountain, 2000-2050 m above sea level, on the bank of Gudyalchay. There are some springs, waterfalls, caves and rivers around the village. Near the village there are holy places like Bab bey - Bab ata (Pir Girim Sham baba) and Pir Jalal tomb. The village of Gryz is one of the settlements with the most snow in the territory of Azerbaijan. In addition, the village has a school, a municipal building and a new mosque, which are not in good condition.
