Itinerary description
this is the best part of wutai mountains. all the trails are so soft and comfortable, few bumpy stones.
most of the time, you will be walking on hill tops, one after another. it's so wonderful enjoying the layers of mountains while hiking, just like fabulous pictures around you all the time.
there are various unique wild flowers along the way. if you are not in a hurry, you even couldn't stop snapshotting all the time. you may also choose to lie down on the grass, enjoying the sunshine, blue sky and freshness of greens and everything.
it is also possible to encounter herd of horses, cows and other animals. they are so lovely, mild-tempered and handsome. i was so amazed by a male horse who was on duty that noon, while his spouse and son were lying beside him, having a nap peacefully. what a beautiful picture. they are many of alike in nature.
temples used to offer guests free meals and place to stay, while we couldn't make it during this special period. and there were few options in terms of board and lodging. so what we had to do is to combine trips, say 40 km hiking per day, which has made the team so exhausted.
we look forward to going back to normal so that we can make another journey.
