This may be the shortest of the 3 loops at Woodsdale Regional Park but its impact is still great if you're interested in a loop that is 100% forest bathing with opportunities to venture out to the river if you wish. This trail is well-marked along with the abundance of signs about the types of plants and trees you're walking among and this can drastically change. Walking along a sea of stinging nettle is certainly not the same as walking through a tunnel of sycamore trees and both natural neighborhoods should be experienced (though watch out for that stinging nettle's stings!) Plastic boardwalk occasionally appears presumably for those times that the Great Miami River floods the area and leaves it marshy in some areas. If you're looking for a quick loop with your pooch or a wonderland for your tot, this is a magical walk or quick trail run that's plenty packed down and wide enough with minimal roots to navigate around.
