Wolfberg cracks and arch - Wolfberg Schlucht und Bogen in Cederberg Mountains
The tour enters through the narrow crack and leaves through the wide crack. From the end of the cracks you can continue to the arch. You need to buy a permit either at Sanddrif or Cederberg cellar (winery). As the tour leads through cracks the GPS might be inaccurate for these sections. However, you can't exit earlier on your way through the cracks. It exists a good illustrated walking and information guide (e.g. available where you must buy the permit) I recommend using it to find the way to the narrow crack. The way via the narrow crack has two climbing spots. According to the description you could bypass the first climb. I haven't checked this alternative. After the first climbing spot you continue on a ledge. The two climbs are difficult and the rest of the tour is easier. Please take the hiking time not as an average. When walking in a group it might take much longer. Nice tour!

Did you overnight there?
I stayed at the Kromrivier lodge the night before. You have to buy a permit to visit the cracks. So I decided to arrive the day before the tour. The tour itself was a one-day hike.
First of all thanks for answering. Do I have to buy a permit even if holding the wildcard ?
Were can I buy that permit? I´m a bit confused with the start of the trail & where to buy the permit.

In year 2015 I bought the permit at the winery Cederberg Cellar.
