Itinerary description
Although we knew conditions weren’t great we went out anyway as they were due to improve through the day.
We reached 3412m just below the VF and turned round as conditions were still terrible and we had the glacier still left to cross.
Conditions improved as we dropped down (typical) but then quickly clagged in again so visibility would have been very poor.
Good training/acclimatisation walk though as we had full alpine rack etc with us so the packs were heavy!
