Itinerary description
The terrain undulates with no killer hills and while the signage promised a viewpoint, don't hold your breath. There are many ways to shorten or lengthen the hike with several junction points and easy connections to two neighbouring tracts with trails. This hike is appropriately named, it is a little wilder than others in the area, has a good dose of solitude and a fair amount of wildlife. I was lucky enough to see three skittish deer cross the trail ahead of me but wasn't fast enough to get a photo.
Would recommend this hike and I'll certainly do it again.
Waypoints
Parking lot
I parked as soon as I got off Brock Road. There is an official parking lot 70 meters down the lane to your right and it is a much better place to park. It includes a sign board with a map of the trails.

Trail signage is very good, with posts at regular intervals and each one has a map with corresponding notation. They also do a really cool thing... when you are reading the post you are facing north which makes navigating even easier!
