Easy route to explore the famous Monument Valley park up close. The route is very well signposted and, to our surprise, very little crowded. Many people stay in the part of the viewpoint, take the photo and little else. Although we did the route in July, we did not experience excessive heat. It is true that you have to do it in the morning and load well with water. The route highlights the 360-degree views of West Mitten Butte and that distinctive red earth. To our surprise, a couple of horses gave us a couple of shots.
