Itinerary description
Quicker way back from Koruldi Lakes to Mestia (Can be also used to go up, but if you carrying heavy backpacks follow my Day 1 trail instead: https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/wildathike-caucasus-svaneti-region-georgia-day-1-mestia-koruldi-lakes-27018573)
Travel tips for Georgia:
- Avoid long waiting queues to buy train tickets (specially in Tbilisi), just buy them online: https://beta.tkt.ge/railway
- If you want a bit more comfort than traveling in Marshrutkas, try Georgian regular buses (keep in mind that the insane driving style will still be present): http://www.georgianbus.com/?lang=_eng
- Grabbing a taxi is a challenge in Georgia, in Tbilisi for a regular 5 GEL round, drivers can actually ask you for 29 GEL!!! If you don't have patience for negotiation, use Taxify app.
