Itinerary description
Normally this is a 3 day Backpacking trip. A group of trail runners tries to do this loop 4 times in one day each February. My numbers: 27.4 miles, 8700 feet elevation gain. Start: 8:33 AM Finish 9:23 PM The third climb was up Hankey Mountain and though it looks relatively tame, it was a 28% grade over 17 miles into the hike, and it was tough.
