Itinerary description
Disregard last .7 miles (I was in the car). Absolutely incredible hike. Waterfall features, intense hill climb over stone steps, hidden meadow exactly 3 miles up (which is where you will probably turn around). If you want to add another 2+ miles, find the new trail they are cutting up to the right in the meadow. Do not hike this in the rain. It will be extremely muddy and take a few years for the new trail to get compacted and hard. The Carolina Conservancy deserves a round of applause for the trail maintenance they are doing so the public can enjoy this piece of land.
