Itinerary description
Hike to Widgeon Falls & up to Widgeon Lake. Don't recommend taking our route along the old trail to the Falls, stay on the main path/old logging road. There are two further waterfalls that are more spectacular than the Widgeon Falls higher up on the trail to the lake (the first isn't far from the turn off). The last 2km or so of the hike to the lake was a bit challenging, big elevation gain, some scrambling, fixed ropes. The lake is absolutely stunning.
