Wicklow Way: Moyne to Stranakelly

Quinto día en el Wicklow Way. Etapa más corta y suave que las anteriores, sin ninguna complicación especial, aunque el esfuerzo previo ya pasa factura.

Nos alejamos de Moyne por carretera, pero al cabo de unos kilómetros la abandonamos y el camino vuelve a tener ese sabor que tanto nos gusta de las Islas Británicas: amplios prados cubiertos por helechos y salpicados de puertas para el ganado.

No olvidéis hacer la tradicional parada en el pub Dying Cow para celebrar con una pinta de Guinness que habéis superado los 100 kilómetos. ¡A nosotros nos supo a gloria! Fifth day in the Wicklow Way. Shorter and smoother than the previous stages, without any particular complication, though we're already paying for the previous effort .

We left Moyne on paved road, but soon the way has again that British Isles flavor that we like so much: wide meadows covered by ferns and dotted with doors for livestock.

Do not forget the traditional stop at the Dying Cow pub to celebrate crossing the 100km line with a pint of Guinness. It tasted like heaven to us! And it made us very easy to walk the few km left to our accommodation, the Lugnaquilla View : http://www.lugnaquilliaview.com/
