Itinerary description
Start from the amazing Wharariki beach, first a small river crossing then continue along the gorgeous coast, stop along Cape Farewell Viewpoint to the Pillar Point lighthouse. The lighthouse isn't very pretty but the way there and the view of the Farewell Spit is great. To get back follow the road, if you're lucky a nice Kiwi or tourist will give you a lift. Bring a jacket, it's always windy on the cliffs.
