Itinerary description
Great place to hike with highly varied terrain. The southern trail is very easy and flat -- good for fast walking or trail running. The northern trail is much more rugged and difficult, of course, that means more fun!
This trail does require a lot of energy and by the end I was really almost out, I needed a good 10 minute rest to finish the last couple of miles.
Great hike, a lot of fun. Very good views of New Haven and the reservoirs. This hike is wonderfully scenic the entire time
