Itinerary description
Short steep walk to a waterfall in a millennial native forest.
There is a small space for parking at Route N-55 just before arriving to Cabañas Ruca Piren. The path starts directly there leading to the evergreen forest consisting of old oak trees, coihue, lengas and others.
The trail is flat at the beginning but gets steep and difficult in winter conditions, as it is very slippery especially going down with snow. Therefore I would it a moderate-difficult level with snow. Walking sticks and adequate foot wear are recommendable.
Follow the water tube and the sound of the water, so after 40 minutes more or less you will arrive to the waterfall which is on your left.
Don’t forget to take back your litter and don’t leave anything behind than your footprint.

lovely walk, well worth the effort. End February so very very dusty for part of it, but glorious and stunning waterfall
