WARNING! If you feel like wasting time and momentum, go hire the locals. If not, either you apply for a permit, and go on your own (which is nearly impossible, thanks to the local forestry department, working hand-in-hand with the local hiking guides), OR, go at it, on your own, at your own risk.
Would say that this is the very definition of Mulu's Pinnacles. Beautiful, sharp, rock formations and all. The only difference is, you're only doing a little bit of the rock formations, and then, seeing it from the summit, if its Mulu's. Some also says that it's like Tabur hill. However, having never done Tabur, on the virtue that it's forbidden, and permanently closed to the public, I'll never know.
Here, you're doing 95% of the whole trail, littered with these dangerously sharp stones.
Would say that it's possible to do the whole stretch, in 3 to 4 hours, to and fro. However, since we're doing this with the locals, well, you can see it for yourself.
Nonetheless, a very beautiful and interesting hill.
