Très beau parcours au début le long de la rivière "Prum" avec sa chute d'eau, mais très vite entre les rochers

This hike was truly wonderful. The setting at the beginning (the bridge crossing the Prüm River) and the climb through the forest before reaching the impressive plateau with all the unusual rocks created a delightful mood before arriving at the Teuffelsschlucht. The only comment I would like to pass along is that the positive altitude reading (679m) is hugely overrated. It is only about 250m. In studying the trial profile of this hike, I noticed that the tracing shows numerous small "jiggles" which would indicate small changes in elevation such as stairs. I can only theorize that because of the rocks and hills, satellite reception could have been interrupted during this version of the hike and registered elevation changes that did not occur. In any event, the hike is easier than shown and no one should be concerned that this hike is more rigorous than it is in actuality.
