Itinerary description
This is a walk through the mountains and a valley near Kenscoff of around 18km.
From the starting point, you will follow a narrow track that takes you down to a village in the valley. From that point, the track is a steady hike up the hill where the track gets bigger the further you get. When you get to almost the highest point of the track, there is an option to bail-out and take a motor taxi back to the starting point (see waypoint), shortening the walk with at least 7 km.
If you continue to walk, you will be walking on an unpaved road and will be quite easy: It's wide and generally descending. When you have around 3 km to go, you'll come through a market where you can buy some drinks.
Please note you can easily change the starting point of the hike to another point on the trail that is along the road, but it would mean that you may have more of the climbing near the end of the trail (when you're possibly a bit tired).
Alternatively, you may want to hike this trail in counter-clockwise direction. You will have quite a ascent at the end, but it might be easier to do up then down, specially if it has been raining recently.

If you're too tired to continue, you will most-likely be able to find a motor taxi that will bring you to market that you passed through on your way to the start of the hike, shortening the walk with at least 5 km.

Une variante des parcours A/R sur les crêtes, toujours aussi plaisant.
