Itinerary description
The Waldo Canyon Trail is a very popular trail that can be utilized year round. It boasts a diverse terrain including dark, shady forests; sunny, exposed hillsides; babbling brooks and great views of Pikes Peak and Williams Canyon.
From I-25, exit at Highway 24 (or Cimarron Street) and head west. Travel west on Highway 24 for about 7.5 miles to a paved turnout and parking area on the right side (north). Watch carefully, the parking area/trailhead comes up quickly after a sharp turn in the road.
