Itinerary description
More challenging than initially expected, most likely we came off the trail but it only made it more interesting.
Moderate due to a few steep areas. Great hike for winter with amazing flower fields.
Proximity to road and villages makes it quite a safe hike. Always take precautions though i.e. enough water, proper shoes, hat & a map or app.
Enjoyable exploration of the area with a museum in the village or flower farm nearby to explore further after the hike.

This is clearly a challenging trail with technical difficulties both dowhill and uphill. While it is physically demanding, it also provides great variety allowing for recovery periods.
Be prepared for a few solid scrambling portions and for s few steep decline sections require focus and dexterity.
My favourite hike so far in UAE!
Amani, you will find the flower fields almost right away no need to do the full hike. I suggest to follow it reverse way until the flower beds
Hello, thanks for the info. I'm planning a group hike with people of mixed abilities (a few hiking newbies). May I ask if we follow the signs all the way, will there still be steep slopes or challenging parts? Thanks!
