Itinerary description
Sharjah to Khor fakkhan road just after Raugh tunnel there exists a beautiful hidden spot called wadi shees.
Goverment of sharjah developed a nice family park with beautiful garden with amazing mountains atmosphere. Must visit place for families.
Just going down 200m, we parked our cars and started Shees nature trail, which take you through old shees village, farms, fresh water stream and trees. Trail is green and calm. Since the marked shees nature trail is short (1.8km), we decided to walk along UAE Oman boarder with moutains and farms view, at the end of our trail we took some adventure to climb the mountain near by (skip this part, its little risky with lot of loose rocks).

Is it ok to just walk in the Oman territory? I mean hajar bani Hamid is in Oman. No one will stop you or ask for passport or anything?
Yes it's fine to just walk. However recommend to carry Emirates I'd and other relevant documents and check the regulatory guidelines
Very disapointed by this hike. The 15 first minutes in the village are nice but after what is the point of walking on a large flat road that cars can take.. views of palm tree and mountain is nice but hike is boring
