This is one way up/down trail.
It is a short distance but high elevation gain steep trail.
Most of the times, you can see a faint path and it becomes obvious.
There is an initial scree section with unstable rocks and loose stones.
Its quite steep and you should walk up / down on this section with great care, please take care of people behind you as loose rocks can slide down and hurt others.
Once you cross this scree area, the path is stable and faint trail that takes you up all the way till the summit village.
From the village, you can see Wadi Sha'am, Wadi Ghalilah, Jebel Jais and Khasab mountains.
There is a large ancient cemetery which gives hint of a big population that once lived in this village.
Overall this hike is a great one for endurance test, but it has its own challenges in the trail with scree of loose rocks.
Take care and hike safe.
Take all needed supplies as there is no support on the mountain.
Be Safe and Enjoy the Hike.
Do Not Try Any Hikes If You Do Not Understand The Mountain Terrains, Dangers From Wildlife, First Aid, Hydration And Snacks, Your Own Fitness, Remote Activity Preparations, Communication Tools, Mountain Geography, Topography, Risk Factors, HSE Requirements, Hiking Risks, Fitness Level Of The Group Members.
Study All Above Matters Well Before Following Any Trails That You Find Online.
Please Do Not Over Estimate Yourself.
Better Be Safe Than Put Yourself / Group In Danger And Regret Later.
Lately We Have Seen A Lot Of Unwanted Hiking Incidents That Could Have Been Avoided With Better Preparation.
Wish You All The Best.
