Itinerary description
Easy hike along the wadi with one steeper 500 m part to descend ant the beginning and ascend on return. We parked our car further down the road bu the friendly camel farm in order to avoid long walk in the wadi in the village. It’s a pity locals use the wadi as their landfill. The fort is nice, you can ask the friendly guide for a tour. After the stroll around the palace and visit to the pond in the nearby wadi you take the same way back. Minimal shade is all way long, only few trees in the wadi, but there’s a breeze which helped to survive the sauna like midday heat. The path is clearly marked all the way.

hi there. Thanks for the description. one family was enquiring with me if they can make this trek enjoying the weather. The Youngest is like 5 years old and the oldest is a 70 year old uncle. Do you recon this can be doable for them or best to avoid ? Please advise :) Thanks in advance
Hi Meril, depends on the fitness of them, if they are fit and hiked before, then yes. If it's first time for them then better try easy trails like near Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain.
