Itinerary description
Beautiful hike, best during the cooler months with a descent walk through the wadi bed and through the village to the dam. Hayl Fort is well preserved and gives the hike a good stop point for IG pics.
~13 km total hike. On the way back from the dam, take the path to the right to descend to the wadi bed.
The hike start is a good descent to the wadi and so be mindful of the steep ascent at the end. Kids and amateurs may find this ascent bit challenging; but can be managed with slow gradual steps. Enjoy each steps…

Caution: carry enough water and electrolyte (~4L), head lamp, trekking poles, medicine kit, food and emergency support requirements
