Itinerary description
Qasr al Bint to Wadi Sabra.
Beautiful walk into a lesser known part of Petra. Sabra is a wadi south of the main city, which goes all the way to the Wadi Araba. Before reaching the valley, you will find a secluded archaeological site (theatre, acropolis, baths) that has yet to be fully explored. Do respect the ruins!
The hike is not difficult, except for the walk in the sandy bottom of the wadi on the last third of the way. There's quite a nice elevation too.
Hiring a donkey is probably advisable if you want to do this walk with children.
