Itinerary description

This hike is one part of the trail, Moderate level and can be done along with family and kids as well.

Wadi Munay Breaker is on Maliha - Kalba Road, approx 28 km ahead of Fujairah and Khorfakkhan Exit.

This location will be on right side and when speed limit has come down to 60kmph that mean you are about to reach.

Parking is available. From left side of Dam / parking one can see kachaa road / track. Follow the same till u reach a location where one can see Camel farm. From there you can decide which route to take.

One the way when you are assending, one encounter lots of boulders. So, recommand to wear proper hiking shoes. Rubber shoes can also work but it may damage.

Upon reaching summit when descending one have to be very careful choosing the path. Best way is to descend from lest side rather from right side.

This dam / breaker is best place to camp and also barbecue.

No toilets. On dam Not allowed to camp. But little ahead of dam on right side ample place.

Carry 2 liter of water minimum.

My 80 (very fit for his age) year old step father really enjoyed this hike and introduction to the UAE (RAK) mountain landscape. Thanks for sharing this trek. It was also perfect weather this time of year to do the hike.
