Itinerary description
Find a parkingplace somewhere at the top, you can’t miss it, so many cars ;-)
From the opposite side of the road you’ll find a big rock with an iron plaque on it, follow the marked path up and you are good to go!
Its a steady climb the first few hundred meters, once you reach the saddle-point it’s an easy strawl, enjoy the magnificent scenery!
After a while you have a choice to climb the (low) top of a hill, or take the path left for the round-trip.
BEWARE, once you climb up the loose gravel path, keep in mind that halfway the climb you have to follow the path on the left side of the slope… (look closely on foto #3) I’ve seen too many climbing too far up… which means you have to make a scary route down to find the right path!!
Once on the path (again) you come to an ice-patch… it’s wise to bring a stick/cane to help you cross it! You can also climb down to miss the ice and reconnect to the path beyond the ice… but it’s an unmarked and unsecured hike over loose rocks…
After the ice it’s a breeze.. keep following the (level and well marked) path until you come to the connectionpoint where you went up (the saddle). Take a right from there and go down, back to your car
A very nice surrounding, but not as easy as some hikers made you believe on this route-app!
