Itinerary description

This is a short hike suitable for those with limited time or who just want to get a taste of Vrsacki Breg (Vrsac Hill). It includes the castle and the Forester's Hut. We finished at the Planinarski Dom (Mountaineers' House) and had a lovely lunch. But you can easily make this hike a loop by heading back from there along Turisticki Put (the tourist road - the main road transversing the hill). You will end up back at the car park for the castle.

We went in summer - it's a good choice for a hot day since it is shady. The views from the castle are great!

I have classified the hike as easy. There is some ascent, but the path quality is good.

The only other thing I would say is the hill is busy - especially around the castle and the Red Cross. If you want a more quiet experience, choose a weekday, a day with variable weather or do one of the many other hikes on the hill that don't go to these two places. The Planinarski Dom was not so crowded, so as soon as you get away from the main attractions you will be fine.
