Itinerary description

Sometimes a hike is a failure. The map you use is not good, the path is no longer there, or has been neglected and is overgrown, or destroyed by a flood or thunderstorm... I was trying to cross the Stari Grad plain to visit this landscape with 25 centuries but was defeated by the maze of dry walls, of paths that existed only on the map or were overgrown. It was nevertheless possible to get the feeling of what are these drywalls containing vineyards, olive groves or small vegetable gardens.
It is really a pitty that a well marked trail is not proposed for the many tourists that visit Stari Grad and leave without knowing or understanding the unique place they are into.
But as you can see from my failure a good homework is required in order to enjoy this landscape.
