Von Hinterkirch (Langtaufers) zur Maseben Berghütte

Eigentlich sollte es auf die Tiergartenspitze gehen, weil dieser Gipfel zu jenen Dreitausendern gehört, der relativ leicht zu ersteigen ist. Dass wir es nicht geschafft haben, war nur dem Umstand geschuldet, dass meine Mutter doch immerhin schon 85 Jahre alt ist und der Anstieg für sie dann doch nicht so leicht war.

Die ersten 200 m der Wanderung waren wirklich extrem steil. Zwar ging es nur über eine Wiese aber dadurch wurde es ja auch nicht flacher!

Es gibt im Prinzip zwei Möglichkeiten hoch zu kommen: die steilere und kürzere Variante oder eben länger und dafür flacher. Wir haben uns für die längere Variante entschieden (außer wie geschildert am Anfang), so dass wir nach 2 Stunden auf der Berghütte Maseben waren. Gruppen die die kürzere Variante gewählt hatten, waren aber auch nicht viel schneller als wir.

Es war bis jetzt die schönste Wanderung, einfach weil die Aussicht auf die Gletscher der Dreieinhalbtausender so grandios war. Auch die Maseben Berghütte macht einfach Laune dort zu rasten. Auf dem Weg hinauf sind wir fast niemandem begegnet, kein Vergleich mit der Wanderung zum Eishof, wo so viele Leute unterwegs waren, dass das ganze schon eher an eine Prozession erinnerte! Das letzte Stück auf die Tiergartenspitze soll noch einmal ungefähr zweieinhalb Stunden dauern, so dass man insgesamt auf 5-6 Stunden kommen kann. Mit Rückweg ist das schon heftig!

Actually, it should go on the Tiergartenspitze, because this peak belongs to those three-thousand-meter peaks that are relatively easy to climb. The fact that we did not make it was only due to the fact that my mother is already 85 years old and the climb was not so easy for her.

The first 200 m of the hike were really extremely steep. Although it went only over a meadow but it was not flatter!

In principle, there are two ways to get up: the steeper and shorter variant or longer and flatter. We have chosen the longer variant (except as described at the beginning), so that we were after 2 hours on the mountain hut Maseben. Groups that had chosen the shorter variant, but were also not much faster than us.

It was the most beautiful hike so far, simply because the view of the glaciers of the three-and-a-half-thousanders was so magnificent. Also the Maseben mountain hut makes simply mood there to rest. On the way up we met almost no one, no comparison with the hike to the Eishof, where so many people were on the road that the whole thing was more reminiscent of a procession! The last piece on the Tiergartenspitze should take another two and a half hours, so you can come to a total of 5-6 hours. With way back, that's already hefty!

In realtà, avremmo dovuto scalare il Tiergartenspitze, perché questa cima è una di quelle cime di tremila metri che è relativamente facile da scalare. Il fatto che non ce l'abbiamo fatta era dovuto solo al fatto che mia madre ha già 85 anni e la salita non era così facile per lei.

I primi 200 m dell'escursione erano davvero estremamente ripidi. Era solo attraverso un prato, ma questo non lo rendeva più piatto!

In linea di principio, ci sono due modi per salire: la versione più ripida e più corta o quella più lunga e più piatta. Abbiamo scelto l'opzione più lunga (tranne all'inizio, come descritto), in modo da essere al rifugio Maseben dopo 2 ore. I gruppi che avevano scelto l'opzione più corta non erano molto più veloci di noi.

È stata l'escursione più bella finora, semplicemente perché la vista dei ghiacciai delle cime di tremila e mezzo metri era così magnifica. Il rifugio Maseben rende divertente anche il riposo. Non abbiamo incontrato quasi nessuno durante la salita, non c'è paragone con l'escursione all'Eishof, dove c'era così tanta gente che sembrava più una processione! L'ultima parte fino al Tiergartenspitze dovrebbe richiedere altre due ore e mezza, quindi si potrebbe finire con un totale di 5-6 ore. Compresa la via del ritorno, è una bella camminata!
