Itinerary description
I was with a hiking group on this mostly unmarked loop trail. We camped by the Sv. Ilija church up in Petkovina there's a water spring and even a power socket on an electricity pole across. The road to it goes across the restaurant 'Sastavci' in Izgori, only partially paved so a low car would have trouble getting there.
The first part of the trail reaching the first peak Studenac is unmarked, some of it follows a goat path, part of it is steep, part only slightly, but in total it's a 1000m ascent. Shall you continue east, the trail would take you all the way to the lake Trnovačko , but you can have great views over it just 7-10min walking down.
From Studenac (Veliki Oštrikovac) there's a marked trail going northwest along the ridge via other peaks Prsti and Badnjine. The views are amazing.
But, from Badnjine it's a steep way down back to the camp and no markings though there is seemingly an old goat path I followed. Still it was a killer for my knees.
