Itinerary description
Volcano Hike to the new eruption site in Meradalir. This trail takes you over the old eruption site and shows the impressive amount of lava that was erupted in 2021.
I strongly recommend hiking boots to protect your ankles as the path has many big rocks and is very uneven. If it rained previously the trail will be muddy and slippery.
