Itinerary description
Route: Vithkuq long circular hike

Distance: 17.8 km (including way back via road from waypoint 010 to 001)
Walking time: 6 hours
Altitude: 1.250 m (min.) - 1.650 m (max.)
Difficulty: Moderate
Description:
Long and beautiful circular hike to the north of Vithkuq. First part follows
the road from Vithkuq to Shtylle (west), before ascending in the forest on
old military pathways. Several scenic views. Trail ends at the main road to
Vithkuq, 2km below the town at the old bridge (waypoint 010). From there
you can take the road for 1.5 km back to the center.
There are several options to modify the trail (compare with GPS file):
Option 1: Take a car direction Shtylle and start to hike from the crossing to
Shtylle (waypoint 004)
Option 2: Discover the highest peak next to the trail (waypoint 006).
Option 3: Save some time and height meters by leaving out the monastery
at waypoint 008 + 009.
