Itinerary description
Old Stone Cottage campground via Mt Norman/Mt Norman Day Use Area from the main visitor’s carpark.
We collected water from the source marked on the southern side on Mt Norman. Beautiful flowing water in a small creek/waterhole. The ranger said this cannot always be reliable - we went in a fairly wet summer but not immediately after rain. There are two small dams right up the firetrail (5-10m) from the campsite that both had plenty of water - it was quite brackish and I’ve heard can be unreliable during dry seasons.
