Itinerary description
This is another wonderful wonderful amazingly beautiful hike in the sierras. This hike requires a car shuttle, which will add an extra hour to your hiking day. Also, you need to drive about 8 miles on a dirt road to reach the Green Creek parking lot. Don't worry too much about the dirt road though. Even my two wheel drive Honda Civic handled it without any problems. The advantage to the car shuttle is that the majority of the hike is downhill :-)
After our hike, we had a very nice dinner at the Double Eagle Resort in June Lake. This restaurant has beautiful views, and a cozy atmosphere. And on Wednesday nights, the dinners are 1/2 price!
